Doesn’t everyone love a good Caesar Dressing now and then. That’s why I would like to introduce you to a Vegan Caesar dressing. Whether pouring it over a nice big green wedge of romaine or on my Garden Green Bean Salad, it’s a simple dairy free dressing to throw together and it makes about a quart jar full. It’s keeps well in the refrigerator and will go quite far as you don’t need a lot to satisfy your taste buds. No, it’s not your typical caesar dressing, and no, it’s not creamy colored, but that’s ok you’re up for something a little different aren’t you?
If you haven’t guessed by now, you know I love to make all my own salad dressings and I encourage you to also. Not all bottled brands are terrible, many are made with great ingredients. One ingredient though that seems to be in many bottled salad dressings is sugar or some form thereof. Now if it’s something we all don’t need more of it’s sugar. Although it does make recipes yummy, who am I kidding here, I love sweet things as much as the next guy or girl, probably more. Hi my name is Valorie and yep I like love cookies, pies, cakes and chocolate, who doesn’t? However there are plenty of foods and recipes that we can cut out the sugar and not even miss it and salad dressings are one of them.
Take the time to skip the bottled stuff and be adventurous. You’ll never know what you’re missing until you mix life up a little and try this Vegan Caesar Dressing.
