Vegan Salted Caramel Sauce is to die for. According to the free dictionary and wiki answers, that means something is extremely good, something important or desirable enough to die for, and that you gotta have it. I think it’s all three, ok well maybe not worth death, but I knew I had to have it and that it’s extremely good, two out of three isn’t bad.
It’s that time of year for some indulgences, and while I have to admit I do my share of indulgences, I also will be glad when the holidays are over and there aren’t so many temptations around. Now if I can just tell myself to stop creating those temptations that would be helpful. However it is the holidays and I do have a few more recipes to tempt you with. Vegan Salted Caramel Sauce is free of refined sugar and dairy, that’s two pluses for this sauce, right? It is a blend of maple syrup, coconut milk, and coconut oil, which is better than white sugar, heavy cream and butter, so if I’m going to tempt you at least it’s with products that are better for you than the usual unhealthy products you find in caramel sauce, just saying. I promise after the holidays, I will do my best to make more recipes that are less of an indulgence and more of a necessity.
Now while I am sure that you all don’t need to indulge in this sweetness very often, but if you find yourself in need, this vegan salted caramel sauce is worth indulging in. Whether it is to be drizzled over a bowl of ice cream or your french toast for breakfast, or as a dipping sauce for apple slices, or over some Grain Free Bread Pudding, any which way you need to indulge, I’m giving you permission. Done. You gotta have it. Like I said it’s to die for.
